Dispatcher application
Now a dispatcher doesn’t have to have a radio to be present in the radio network. All the dispatcher needs for access to the radio network is an office PC, headphones with microphone and the dispatcher console.

Alarm signals and emergency calls
Alarm messages are displayed on the dispatcher's monitor and logged on
the database. It will detail the radio ID, call sign, date and time
and last available GPS location
Lone worker alarm
If a lone worker hasn’t called the dispatcher for 15 mins he/she gets
a message and the dispatcher gets an alarm signal
User tracking
Dispatcher can track the radio user from the GPS location
Allocation of jobs/tasks
Dispatcher can text message radio users to allocate jobs e.g. a taxi
dispatcher can text message the address of the next pick up
